My favourites:
There’s so many different and good covers that match the story inside! I really like the retro feeling of the Hardcover (1996) Alfred A. Knopf and the Russian (2016) ACT cover is unmatched in being the best overall and foreign cover. Look at that majestetic cover with Pan and the compass!
Wow ‘The Golden Compass’ does have so many beautiful covers– I like looking at the different covers all around the world. I really like the ‘Italian (2015)’ one and Folio society does beautiful editions so I love that one too!! And I agree the Russian one does have a beautiful illustration.
I’ve never read the book myself but I have watch the movie (not the same I know) but I really enjoyed looking at the different book covers!! Great post!! 🙂

There’s coming a new BBC tv series soon and hopefully it’s great! Of course I love the book as well though. Thanks!

I quite like the Kindle version of the cover but I also really like the Russian version too. The illustration fits the books so well; plus the gold colour theme is lovely.
